School Based Behavior Consultation
Direct ABA Intervention
Direct ABA intervention includes skill teaching and implementation of strategies to reduce inappropriate behavior. Behavior Interventionists are trained in behavior management, skill teaching, DTT, NET, and many other methodologies to ensure quality of services
Parent Consultation
Parent consultation provides parents with the tools and skills to implement the techniques and strategies of ABA on their own. Our parent training curriculum is adaptable for parents/caregivers at any level.
Supervision
Supervision is provided by a BCBA, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who is trained in the supervision of cases. Supervision includes modeling, teaching, feedback, and data analysis. Supervisors at Acuity Behavior Solutions provide individualized programs for each client and modify programs/skills being taught in order to maximize skill teaching.
Assessment
Assessment guides our intervention. Our comprehensive assessments cover a wide range of areas with a specific focus on areas of autism in children and difficulty for individuals with autism. Communication, social, and behavioral skills are a common focus. Assessment of behaviors at Acuity Behavior Solutions includes a functional behavior assessment.
Acuity Behavior Solutions provides unparalleled services to our district partners, offering comprehensive support and treatment for children with a wide range of behavioral health needs. We prioritize collaboration with teachers, school staff, and parents in our school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
Our expertise has empowered the students we serve to acquire and effectively apply adaptive behaviors essential for success in both educational and broader life settings. The positive impact of our programs directly enhances students’ academic performance and contributes to the overall classroom performance.

BCBA support for parents at school districts ensures that families feel supported, school staff feel supported, and the district has a behavior management expert to reduce stressful and disruptive problem behaviors in the classroom. A BCBA in the classroom for consultation can reduce:

A BCBA in the classroom can
increase and improve:
- Positive behaviors
- Attention and therefore increased learning
- Parent acceptance of behavior planning and support provided via IEP
- Support for the students
- Teacher and Instructional Assistant engagement in the classroom
- Compliance with legal requirements
